Understanding how cells migrate contributes to elucidate various fundamental processes involved in normal and pathological conditions. A significant progress in unraveling the mechanisms underlying cell migration can only be achieved through a comprehensive approach spanning from the study of single molecules to model organisms and diseases. This workshop provided the scientific community with a focused panel of discussion covering all the topical aspects of cell migration, with the ultimate aim to highlight future challenges, pressing questions and provide novel experimental models to address them.
