This program is intended to students having a specific interest for quantitative aspects of biology, such as genomics, systems biology, and modeling of molecular networks, with backgrounds PREFERENTIALLY in Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, but also in Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Medicine, Pharmacy, Physics.
It aims to train professionals who should acquire a unique knowledge-base in specialized areas of Biology, Medicine, Mathematics, Statistics and Information Technology.

The program in Computational Biology holds lectures in fields such as Systems Biology, Bioinformatics, Network Biology, Evolutionary Biology and Cancer Biology.
Complementary skills are also honed through courses on how to give oral and poster presentations, and scientific writing.
