Workshop on Dendritic Cells in Cancer Immunotherapy "from Bench to Bedside"

The workshop was composed of a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part experts on dendritic cell-based vaccinations were invited to report on their experience in cancer immunotherapy clinical trials, including failures and successes. In the practical part, selected applicants participated to two laboratory workshops where protocols on how to derive dendritic cells from blood precursors and how to monitor the induction of immune responses in patients were showed and discussed.
