The course aims at introducing univariate, bivariate and multivariate data analysis using SPSS for social and behavioral sciences. The course will cover basic principles of quantitative data analysis, introduction to SPSS, data cleaning and transformation, descriptive statistics, exploratory factor analysis, t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis, and multiple regression. It includes theoretical training, tutorials, and practical examples with real data. Students are required to install SPSS on their computers. There will be a mandatory final examination consisting of practical assignments to test knowledge of the statistical concepts, techniques, and SPSS procedures covered in the lectures.
