Aim of the course: The course aims at providing a basic theoretical insight into the development and evolution of nervous systems, neuronal physiology, cancer neuroscience and brain pathologies. Through 4 different workshops, tutorials and demonstration, the students will become familiar with various in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo model systems employed in neurobiology as well as basic computational neurogenomic methods.
